Custom award for Indiana University IUOn behalf of the Development Office at IUKokomo, thank you for taking the time to give us a tour.  It was absolutely fabulous & gave us a deeper appreciation fo the work that everyone does at KOG.  We look forward to working with you!
All my best!

Indiana University Kokomo
Dear Mr. O'Donnell,
My wife and I had the opportunity to make a side trip to your plant on our way from Chicago back home to North Carolina two weeks ago.
We both are stained glass fans and wanted to visit a factory to actually see in person "how it's made".  There were no tours scheduled so I explained our situation to the ladies that were working in the retail store and they went out of their way to accommodate us.
David Riggs gave us an enlightened on the spot tour pointing out the equipment, procedures, methods and most interesting, the history of KOG.  When we were shown the recycle shop, the young man there (sorry I didn't get his name) demonstrated hand blowing a bubble, and even let my wife blow a bubble!
As I am sure you are aware that your employees are happy and proud to work at KOG and are very friendly.  We were very impressed and I can say that my future projects will be made using your products.
Please thank David for us and pass along our appreciation for a job well done.
Sincere Regards,
Jim & Marie Claydon
Indiana University Kokomo IUK event at KOGOn behalf of the entire School of Arts and Sciences at Indiana University Kokomo, I wish to thank you for providing a memorable evening for all of us.
Even though we work but a mile from the Opalescent Shop, most of us had never been there, let alone had an opportunity to take a tour.  I heard more good comments about the arrangements, the ambiance,  the food, but most of all about the tour , the history talk, and the shop itself.  I am sure you too could tell how much people appreciated the experience by noticing how they lingered and did not want to leave.  I think some of our art faculty are thinking of linking the Op Shop with their teaching of art.
I hope you did brisk business during our shopping spree.
You are a true Kokomo treasure!
Happy Holidays!

We just wanted to thank all those involved in putting together our order for the Chrysler penta-star suncatchers. First of all, your service was SPECTACULAR! We know how you Chrysler pentastar logo custom drivetrain art glass suncatcherreally pushed to get them done within the time frame we requested. Secondly, the outcome exceeded our expectations! The recipients of the gifts were awed by the design and thoughtfulness of an artisan-created piece. (By the way, these pieces will be spanning the globe as they went to individuals from 3 states, Canada, and Italy.) And the fact that they were created in Kokomo, made them all the more special. Again, THANK YOU for everything.
Most Sincerely,
Brian Harlow
VP Chrysler Powertrain Operations
“I was looking for an unforgettable business gift and I found it at the Kokomo Opalescent Glass company. The glass design was spectacular and the colors were rich with stunning beauty. To top it off, the KOG staff worked with me to set the design on Indiana limestone to make it a true product of the Hoosier state. If you want to work with the best, turn to KOG.”

"A magical place of beautiful colors, friendly people and inspiration. It s a remarkable preservation of tradition, private entrepreneurs and colorful past. The sprinkling of colored glass chips surrounding the factory leads to the wonders created inside the ancient brick walls heated by the fire, sweat and aspiration of artists."

"Working with Kokomo in selecting many gradations of golds and the custom blending of other colors allowed us to match the existing glass perfectly. During the fabrication of the windows, we were quite pleased with the temper and cutability of the glass. The painting and firing results were also excellent. Both the architects and Waterstone's are completely delighted! What else can we say? We love Kokomo!"

"The rondels came in last week or so. We opened the first box to take a look. They are beautiful. The client came in yesterday and saw the rondels and loved them. Many thanks for the pieces and thanks to your talented blowers."

"I received my bullseye panes on Friday. What a wonderful surprise! I didn't expect them to arrive the very next week. They are beautiful!! Thank you for the excellent service and please pass on to the glass artist(s) my appreciation of their talent and efforts."

"The rondels just arrived. Wow! Stupendous! Excellent! The color is probably perfect Florida State Seminole red. I think I might even keep the sizes and slight out-of-round as they are to give the project a more custom look."

"...I made a trip to Kokomo Opalescent Glass Company in Kokomo, Indiana to select and purchase the glass.  I used nearly 8,000 feet of copper foil to wrap the individual pieces and 18 pounds of lead solder to connect over 700 pieces of glass that make up the window. It has been a joy to work on this project and to present it as our gift to Cornerstone Wesleyan Church."

"This was like finding a buried treasure! It was probably the best factory tour we've been on. All were so friendly and happy to share. We were surrounded by beautiful colorful glass and beautiful, colorful people. Love my purchases!"
