The ichthys or ichthus, from the Greek ikhthýs, is a symbol consisting of two intersecting arcs, the ends of the right side extending beyond the meeting point so as to resemble the profile of a fish. It was used by early Christians as a secret Christian symbol and is now commonly known as the "Jesus Fish" or the "sign of the fish". It is a wonderful reminder to be "fishers of men". Approximate size is 3 1/4" tall X 7 1/2" long Our Jesus Fish suncatcher comes in various color combinations, picked at random when you order. If you have a color preference, please let us know in the notes section and we will do our best to find something in that general color. Our standard suncatcher comes with a suction cup mount for your window or mirror. All of our suncatchers can be ordered as a night light, or as a freestanding light catcher instead. You can also get a votive with them to let them shine even in the dark! All of the items at Kokomo Opalescent Glass are handmade with pride in Indiana; because they are handmade there may be some variations from the photos.
