Art Glass Rondels

Like sheet glass, glass rondels are usually make small craft objects or to become part of a a larger scale piece of artwork.  Glass rondels may be foiled or leaded into larger structures to adds shards, swathes, and blooms or color to a larger whole. 

Our spun glass rondels are wonderful pieces for commercial production: they’re thick, sturdy and economical.  They’re very versatile: they can be sandblasted, decoratively soddered, cut or ground down.

Our blown art glass rondels come in a number of varieties: full color, flashed, bullseyed, and in many other ‘specialty’ styles.      

Flashed rondels will a gather of clear over top of the color in their core.  Full color glass rondels of colorful through and through.  These are the primary genres of rondel that we work with: the specificity of what we can gets pretty detailed.  Blown art glass rondels have an incredibly elegant look: they’re smooth and refined.
