We put the insulating brick on the crown (this brick was laid horizontally). We also began repair on the furnace mouth and put the covers back on the recuperating tunnels. Corner brick work had stopped because we had to wait for the furnace to come up to temp. While the furnace temp came up we had to adjust the steel bands and if the brick work was done we wouldn't have been able to get to the bolts to adjust it. |
